1. Got a crafty kitchen kid who is enjoying Masterchef? The Queen Victoria Market is holding special cooking classes for teens who want to make gourmet school lunches on July 1 at 11:00 am. Call 9320 5822.

2. Get your kids out and about and acquainted with the grand old girl Melbourne. Book a Golden Mile Guided Walk with a professional guide who will take families through Melbourne’s most iconic architecture whilst telling tall tales.

3. Mini golf? Tick. Glow-in-the-dark mini-golf? Double tick! Tee off at Glow Golf and set a course around Australia with spectacular scenery that depicts the outback and Sydney Opera House. It is in Melbourne’s Docklands and is terrific novelty fun.

4. Have you been to Docklands Wonderland Fun Park? The circus has come to town! Old skool circus tricks and strongment, juggling, hooping and clowning.

5. Visit the Sports Museum and get into the World Game spirit. The Global Game is an exhibition that tracks the rise and rise of soccer in Australia.
