July 19, 2010

17 Jewish students were given Premier’s Awards to mark their VCE achievements in 2009.

The students who excelled above others in Victoria came from schools including Beth Rivkah Ladies College and Leibler Yavneh.

“Victoria’s high performing students possess a number of important qualities that will help them become future leaders of our community,” Premier John Brumby said at the award ceremony on Tuesday afternoon. “Leadership, determination and focus – these attributes will open many doors of opportunity in the coming years.”
