Council Getting Green

August 29, 2010

The City of Port Phillip get their green thumb on as they consult the community on a future action plan.

Come along to the St Kilda Bowling Club on the 1st September from 6-9 pm (66 Fitzroy St) to get involved in the next community planning event. The council will brainstorm with locals to come up with projects to invest in that will be sustainable and useful.

Come with your ideas to share! It could be a focus on:

  • Managing drought and heat stress
  • Urban design that is water and energy efficient
  • Local gardens for the community
  • Climate-proofing houses and gardens

At the session enjoy light refreshments, activities and a relaxed community vibe. You will need to RSVP to rsvpenviro@portphillip.vic.gov.au
