Would you like a sonnet with that?

September 1, 2010

This month Elwood resident Hugh Tolhurst will be one of several authors who will have their work printed on a scroll and served with coffees at the Melbourne Writer’s Festival.

This project as part of the Melbourne Writer’s Festival is called ‘Bittersweet’. The poem that Tolhurst will be presenting is one he wrote several years ago called ‘My Mother’s Eyes’. This will be delivered in the form of a scroll with coffee around Melbourne’s Federation square. Ingenious!
